Westchester Jazz Orchestra Performs West Side Stories

The Westchester Jazz Orchestra (WJO) will perform "West Side Stories" in the Claudia Boettcher Theatre at The Masters School on Saturday, September 29, at 8:00 p.m. Those who arrive at 7:15 p.m. can participate in "Open Mike," an interactive chat with Artistic Director Mike Holober.
A runner-up for "Best Big Band" in the JazzTimes readers' poll and voted Best Band by Westchester Magazine, the Westchester Jazz Orchestra will kick off its milestone tenth season with big band interpretations of Leonard Bernstein's brilliant musical West Side Story. WJO will premiere its newly-commissioned "West Side Story Suite" and also perform earlier versions written for the bands of Buddy Rich and Stan Kenton.
