Biography

Mr. Friedman, who joined the faculty in 2006, teaches middle school humanities, advises seventh grade boys, and coaches fencing. After graduating from Brown University with a major in modern East Asian history, he worked in the AmeriCorps mentor program and coached fencing at his alma mater. Certified to teach social studies and history in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Mr. Friedman was an All American fencer and has more than twelve years national and international fencing experience.  He and his wife, Elizabeth have recently welcomed their first child Hunter.
