The Class of 2020 and members of the upper school faculty enjoyed afternoon tea and snacks in Park Cottage on Tuesday, November 5, for the annual Faculty and Senior Tea.
The event, hosted by Head of School Laura Danforth and Class of 2020 Dean Jeff Carnevale, was an opportunity for seniors to spend time with each other and their teachers in a laid-back, social setting. Carnevale said that while it was a time for students to “talk about their experiences at Masters, reflect, reminisce and celebrate their Masters experience,” it was also “a time to be together as a grade to laugh, bond and have fun.”
Danforth echoed Carnevale, noting that the tea is an important event for the soon-to-be graduates. “It provides respite from the complexities associated with the last year of high school, and it is a great opportunity to remind our graduating seniors that Masters will always be their home and their teachers will always be here to support them.”
