Introducing F.A.A.M. – The Future Alumnae/i Association of Masters
Posted 10/26/2017 04:38PM
Phoenix Jackson '18 and Henry Williams '18 will be graduating in May, yet they already know a little bit about what it means to be part of the Masters School alumnae/i family. Phoenix's mother, Daniella Blumenthal Jackson, graduated in 1988 and her brother, Elijah, graduated in 2014. Henry's mother, Anne Kolozsvary Williams, is a member of the Class of 1985 and his grandmother, Marlee Henry, started the Dobbs tradition for their family when she graduated in 1957. It is their family legacy, as well as an interest in service to their School community, that led to their interest in joining a burgeoning group at Masters: F.A.A.M.

Phoenix and Henry are part of a group of 10 Seniors who are taking it upon themselves to learn more about what it means to be alumnae/i of The Masters School, and in doing so, make a positive contribution to the School community. They are the inaugural members of F.A.A.M., a new initiative open to all Seniors at Masters. Students are invited to take part in various activities, such as partnering with the Alum Board, planning their Senior Class Gift campaign, and creating and managing various individual projects to benefit the School community, such as a retrospective of School traditions.

We are looking forward to sharing more about F.A.A.M. as the year progresses.
