Why Masters?

I chose Masters because of the community. During my tours and revisit days everyone was waving hello, holding doors, and talking to faculty as if they were friends. The community was one, and I wanted to be a part of it.

What is something you wish everyone knew about Masters?
Morning Meeting. It’s a time in the morning when the entire community comes together. There are announcements, live music, club performances and more. Morning Meeting is unique to Masters and I always look forward to it.

What are you involved with on campus?
Gold Key, peer leaders, Community Council, Writing Center tutor, diversity ambassadors, Mental Health Club co-chair, PAWS Club co-chair… and so many more.

What class would you recommend?
Ethical Leadership, English 10, and chemistry because of the amazing teachers. They created a positive environment that fostered growth and participation. Because of my digital photography class, I now see the world in a completely new light. I romanticize my surroundings now and notice leading lines, subframes, etc., in the most “boring” of places.

Best spot on campus?
The gray chairs in the library. Perfect for curling up with a good book.
