Let’s Roll Up Our Sleeves and Help Save Lives!

The Masters School is proud to host a blood drive on Wednesday, April 10, from 12:30-6:30 PM in the Fonseca Center Gym.

This effort is being organized by Molly Rusoff ’21 in partnership with the New York Blood Center. From organ transplants to heart surgeries, today’s advanced medical care relies heavily on blood transfusions. One unit of blood can help save multiple lives, so blood donors like you can make a real difference for those in need.

Students must be 16 years or older to donate. Students who are 16 and 17 years of age need to provide parental permission. Adult donors are welcome as walk-ins, but prior registration is preferred. Look for the sign-up table in the dining hall during lunch.

Although most people qualify as a volunteer donor, please know that advanced age, or certain medications and medical conditions may affect your ability to donate.

If you have any questions, please contact Sue Adams, Director of Student Health Services, at sue.adams@mastersny.org.

We appreciate your generosity and hope you can contribute to the success of this initiative.
