Faculty and Staff Celebrated During Annual Appreciation Day

One day every year, the faculty rooms in Masters Hall and the Middle School are filled to the brim with delicious treats and Estherwood Mansion is transformed into a spa, replete with manicures and massages.

The occasion is Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day, a Parent Association event spearheaded by Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day Co-Chairs Mary Lockhart P’19, ’20 and Jen Nappo P’21, ’23, ’23. The day is an opportunity for the parent community to come together to celebrate the hard-working faculty and staff of The Masters School. “We have a wonderful team of faculty and staff at Masters,” said Lockhart. “Having a special day to celebrate and thank them is very rewarding.” Nappo shared a similar sentiment: “Often times I feel our teachers and staff are the silent heroes. It’s important to acknowledge their dedication to our children and the Masters community.”

With a significant spread of food and pampering in “The Estherrwood Spa,” faculty and staff certainly felt appreciated — and after a second helping of quiche or another Nutella crepe, a bit too full, as well.
