Upper School students took the stage in the Experimental Theater for the annual Spring Shorts performance on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4.
This year’s lineup was a collection of seven student-directed comedies, two of which were written by students. The performance involved 62 students, from actors, directors and technicians to playwrights, stage managers and lighting designers.
The one-act plays were Revenge of the Gingerbread Boy (playwright: Don Zolidis, director: I. Walter Accetta ’19), From the Mouths of Babes (playwright: Eva Anderson, director: Nova Rivers ’20), Bloody Mary (playwright: Gregory Vovos, director: Phyllis Pan ’19), Life Line (playwright: Douglas Craven, director; Juliana Luis ’19), The Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage (playwright: David Ives, director: Ariana Zocchi Copland ’20), Bird Brained (playwright: Lila Patterson ’22, director: Leah Alden Cunningham ’19 and Lila Patterson ’22) and Got It(playwright: Tim Borowiec ’20, director: Tim Borowiec ’20).
