Girls Indoor Track Relay Team Sets School Record

The varsity girls 4x200-meter relay team kicked off the 2019-2020 indoor track season in style on Wednesday, December 4, setting a school record at the Ivy League Prep Schools Meet at the Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.

The team of Lauren Marlowe ’23, Zia Foxhall ’20, Sabrina Wolfson ’22 and Camille Smith ’22 ran a blazing time of 1:57.56, besting the previous record of 1:58.49 that was set in 2016. The group finished second overall in the event.
 
On the boys side, Judah Francella ’20 took first in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.36 seconds. Francella also placed second in the 300-meter dash (38.02 seconds). Aidan Lothian finished eighth in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:01.56. 
 
Smith and Wolfson rounded out Masters' Top 10 finishers, taking fifth (7.87 seconds) and eighth (8.13 seconds), respectively, in the 55-meter dash.
