Do You Have an Idea Worth Sharing?

Julia Levin ’21 had one, and we are in a rock ‘n’ roll state of mind after watching “A Girl Walks Into a Guitar Shop…,” Levin’s impressive TEDxTheMastersSchool Talk.

And for any student with an idea worth sharing, we are delighted to announce that we will begin an application process to host our fourth TEDx event on campus in spring 2020. In order to receive TED’s authorization to host the event, we need to present a list of speakers and topics. At this point in the process, we would like students to submit ideas for speakers and presentations. Submissions should be sent to Ms. Berrol at lisa.berrol@mastersny.org and will be accepted until midnight on Friday, January 10, 2020.

A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and TED videos are shared with the community. In the last three years, our speakers’ presentations attracted more than 800,000 combined views. Click here to watch highlights from the last three years' TEDxTheMastersSchool. Ms. Berrol and Mr. Barrios will once again be the organizers of this event.
