Students and faculty were invited to bring foods from their respective cultures to share with their peers, and several tables were filled with a delicious assortment of American and international foods for everyone to try.

The lunch has been in the works for several weeks; during a recent DEI leadership group meeting, a student suggested a potluck lunch, and “Everyone immediately loved the idea,” said the group’s advisor and Head of Middle School Tasha Elsbach.

During the event, students and teachers were spotted sharing details about the foods they had brought, and, based on the smiles and excitement in the room, were evidently delighted to share this part of their identity with their peers.
