Video Students Create Delightful “How-To” Shorts

With stay-at-home orders in place in the New York area, many people have found themselves spending more time in their kitchens.

Recently, students in the Foundations in Video Production class showcased some of their favorite recipes in brief “how-to” videos filmed at home. The resulting shorts are deliciously enjoyable.

“This pandemic and subsequent lockdown has been a real challenge for videographers everywhere, as video is inherently such a collaborative craft,” upper school video teacher Raleigh Capozzalo said. But, he explained, with this latest project, his students were able to creatively use their families as talent and their homes as sets. “I was so impressed with the results and hope they can find time to make more videos like these!”
