The Performing Arts Hit a High Note During Remote Learning
Despite an inability to collaborate in person during remote learning, students in the performing arts created impressive works during the last two months of the school year.
In the Middle School, creativity was on display with the beloved fifth grade puppet opera, performed via pre-recorded video segments; seventh graders’ musical ringtones; and eighth graders’ original monologues.
“While ensemble (Fr., together) cannot truly be re-created online, students and faculty worked to continue their culture of creativity and collaboration in the remote medium,” Chair of the Department of Performing Arts Jen Carnevale said.
A sampling of students’ artistic endeavors can be found on the Department of Performing Art’s YouTube, Bandcamp, Facebook and Instagram.
