Middle Schoolers Display Best in Snow

After one of the biggest snowstorms in years blanketed the region, middle school students took advantage of the winter wonderland on campus as Head of Middle School Tasha Elsbach and Associate Head of Middle School Lynn Salehi declared a different sort of snow day on Thursday, February 4.

Physical Education and Sports periods were held outside with the edict being all about SNOW — the simple childhood pleasure of playing and frolicking in it.

“It was wonderful, in the middle of winter, for everyone to have the opportunity to get outside in the sun and fresh air, just enjoying the snow and spending some social time with friends,” said Salehi. “There were many impressive snow people and some epic snowball battles. Our middle school students even do SNOW with their might!”

As evidenced by the smiles, giggles and laughter, this is a lesson plan well worth repeating.
