Celebrate the School’s “Might” on April 20

It promises to be the party of the year — and you’re invited.

On Thursday, April 20, the spring gala Our Night, Our Might will shine a spotlight on The Masters School’s collective creativity, supportive community and brilliant future.

“It’s been six years since our School has hosted a gala, and we’re ready to come together as a community and celebrate,” said Gala Chair Jennifer Nappo P’21, ’23, ’23. “I am proud of the dedicated team of volunteers who have put so much effort into planning what I know will be one of our most exciting fundraising events.”

All eyes will be on the live auction organized by Jodie-Anne Smith P’24, ’29, auction chair, with one-of-a-kind experiences donated by scores of current and former Masters parents, including Hollywood legends Michael Douglas P’18 and Martin Scorsese P’18, and alumnus Alex Pall ’03 of The Chainsmokers. Proceeds will benefit the School’s performing arts, technology and financial aid initiatives.

As they roll out the red carpet for the big night at the Fonseca Center, Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Kara DioGuardi '88 and performing arts teacher Curt Ebersole will join forces as guest emcees with a special performance by DioGuardi.

The cocktail hour and silent auction will kick off the evening and will be followed by an exciting announcement about Masters' future from Head of School Laura Danforth. After a seated three-course dinner there will be a tribute to longtime trustee Tracy Tang '80, P'18. The program lineup will feature student performances by the talented String and Chamber Ensembles and a “Great Gig in the Sky” concert preview of the definitive album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.”

Be a part of the fun and get ready to raise your paddle. But first, you need tickets, which are available for purchase until April 10. Let’s get this party started!
