Class of 2021
Briarcliff Manor, New York
The sense of community here is something I’ve never felt before. Everyone is so welcoming and goes out of their way to help each other out. There are so many opportunities on campus, and our faculty members do everything they can to support students and give them what they need to succeed.
What are you involved with on campus?
I’m the president of a few diversity-oriented clubs, such as our feminism club (GALS), the Gender Sexuality Alliance, our Indian culture club (DESI), and our American Sign Language club. In addition to Gold Key Ambassadors, I also try to be as active as possible in Diversity Ambassadors, our dance troupe (MUSE), Model United Nations, Girls Who Code, and Girls in STEM. I tutor in the Writing Center and serve as both a peer leader and a Community Council member.
What is your favorite event at Masters?
At Great Gig, our spring performance, we play an entire rock album, and it’s always super fun! Everyone practices mostly on their own, but we get to see it all come together during tech week. So many of my friends get a chance to showcase their talents, and I’m always in awe.
