Our purposeful engagement program, Masters Interested in Sharing and Helping (MISH), is the oldest program on campus and is central to the School's mission: to be a power for good in the world.
Students engaging with MISH programs explore the core tenets of service and community. Radical generosity is the foundation of the students' exploration of self and guides how they bring their talents to the table, thinking about and addressing the social problems they identify in the world around them.
All Masters students can join in MISH programs. Two upper school students per grade are elected to serve on the MISH leadership committee, and four seniors lead the team, learning to collaborate and negotiate as well as plan for executing service projects.
