Charles has taught chemistry at Sacred Heart Greenwich in Connecticut and at Mahopac High School in New York.
Charles earned a B.A. in chemistry from SUNY Stony Brook and a master in education with a concentration in earth, space and environmental sciences from Western Connecticut State University.
