Four players — Gabriela Olay ’25, Magnolia Bing-Edwards ’26, Caroline Miller ’27 and Penelope Schab ’27 — netted their first-ever goals at the varsity level. Lucia Lamprecht ’26, Mia Steinwurtzel ’26, Julissa Casiano ’25, Anna Shub ’25 and Emma Barnes ’26 added one goal each for the Panthers, who flexed their depth and skill throughout the match.

Steinwurtzel also doled out two assists, while Barnes, Maya Yoon ’26, Isabella Henriquez ’26, Natalie Beit ’25 and Charlize Von Spiegel ’25 notched one helper apiece.

"It was such a well-rounded game," head coach Juan Cobos said. "The team dominated possession, staying true to our tiki-taka style of soccer."

Masters followed up the victory with a hard-fought 0-0 draw against visiting Greenwich Academy in their Fairchester Athletic Association opener on Tuesday, September 12, at Reunion Field. Keeper Madi Lowe ’26 spearheaded a strong defensive performance, recording 11 saves as the squad tallied its second straight clean sheet.

Looking ahead, the Panthers will take on visiting Greens Farms Academy in their next match on Monday, September 18, at 4:30 p.m.

"We have a young team (with only one senior) and are primed to be competitive across all competitions," Cobos said.
