Varsity Girls Tennis Celebrates Senior Day With Victory
The varsity girls tennis squad capped off a great season in style at this past Monday's Senior Day match against visiting Kennedy Catholic.
The Panthers swept Kennedy, 4-0, and celebrated seniors Sofia Benson, Alex Batson, Callie Leff, Maelani Groff and Jordie Troy in the process.
Benson won the lone singles match, while the teams of Carol Queiroz ’23/Sophie Grand ’21, Batson/Groff and Troy/Leff all emerged victorious in doubles to complete the sweep.
Masters finished with an impressive record of 10-5 on the year.
"I thought all the seniors this year did a great job supporting their teammates and building a positive environment," coach Greg Lesser said. "It was really great to see the team bond and have a very successful season."
