Kayla Hanley joined The Masters School in August 2025 and is in her first year on the coaching staff. She serves as the girls varsity basketball head coach, girls varsity soccer assistant coach, and girls middle school soccer head coach.
Hanley played women’s basketball at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, where she was a team captain for three years. During her senior season (2023–2024), she led her team to the Skyline Conference Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Women’s March Madness Tournament. In her graduate year (2024–2025), she ranked 5th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio and 25th in total assists, establishing herself as one of the top point guards in the country.
She began her coaching career with St. Joseph’s School sixth grade girls CYO Basketball, where she won a championship in her first year. She also coached for Empire State Blue Flames AAU Basketball, helping young athletes develop their skills and love for the game.
