Class of 2022
I chose Masters for the amazing community it has created. No matter what your passion is, Masters has a place for you to feel welcomed and supported.
What are you involved with on campus?
Being an athletically inclined student, I am involved with three seasons of varsity running as well as having a leadership role in the Dobbs Athletic Association.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
To me, the Fonseca Center serves as the perfect place to socialize with friends. Whether it is during lunch or after school, I always find myself with friends circling back there in our free time. Also, with the building containing plenty of sports facilities, performance spaces, and a cafe with seating areas, it is the true epicenter of after-school student life.
What has been your favorite class? What makes it stand out as your favorite?
My favorite class at Masters was a ceramics class in my sophomore year. One of the art teachers, Ms. Mestyan is probably my favorite teacher of all-time. This class served as the perfect way for me to relax. The grading was all about the effort and attitude you had in the creative process, which gave students complete artistic freedom to experiment with whatever styles they wanted.
