Department of Performing Arts
Max joins the Department of Performing Arts as an upper school music teacher. He has taught drumline and percussion at Massapequa High School, Mineola High School and most recently at Brooklyn Steppers Marching Arts and Miami Fine Arts Academy.
In addition to teaching, Max has performed as a drummer/percussionist on the national tours of “Hairspray” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” as well as in numerous off-Broadway and regional theater productions. Max earned a B.M. in percussion performance from East Carolina University and a master's in music education from the University of Miami.
