After completing 12 years of service on the Board of Trustees, Chris Grim Neikirk '84 is taking on a new challenge here at Masters: Alumnae/i Annual Fund Chair.
When asked about the importance of encouraging her fellow alumnae/i to support their alma mater, Neikirk said, "I believe in the culture and educational experience that Masters provides. I love how much time the Board, administration and faculty spend planning and curating the most unique environment where each individual student is allowed to shine, grow and become a power for good in the world."
Neikirk has been serving her alma mater for many years. She enjoys being her class agent and has written the bi-annual class notes for The Bulletin since her graduation. She was awarded the Richmond Bowl for her service in 2014.
Neikirk graduated from The University of Virginia with a B.A. in governmental affairs and a certificate of business from the Commerce School. She currently works at Smartmouth Brewing Co., which her husband co-founded in 2014. She also assists nonprofit organizations with communications and governance issues.
Neikirk lives in Norfolk, VA, with her husband, Christopher. They have two sons, Cal, who attended CITYterm in the fall of 2013, and Chipper. Neikirk's mother, Helen (Nell) Fisher Grim '53 served as an Honorary Trustee of The Masters School.
