On Tuesday, Alex Feiner ’20 explored the geometry of the universe, explaining the mathematics behind relativistic physics and using props — including an elastic sheet — to demonstrate how mass warps space. Sera Gungor ‘20 described her career as a sneaker entrepreneur and explored the economic and psychological reasons why some sneaker models have “hype” and gain value and others do not.
On Wednesday, Sophie Lai ’20 presented her research on the life of her great, great, great, grandfather and his unusual trip in 1857 to Turkey and Italy. Lai brought artifacts from her ancestor’s life, including his journals and Civil War uniform.
Sam New ’21 will present about her podcast, “Schooled,” which focuses on school safety, at a future date to be determined.
