Masters Recognizes Five College-Bound Athletes
The Masters community recognized five college-bound athletes in the Sharon Room on May 19.
Seniors Nicholas Moutsatsos (Amherst/track), Alex Thorn (Vassar/squash), Sarah Christie (Oberlin/track), Julissa Casiano (Iona/soccer) and Tereza Horvatova (Manhattan/swimming) were celebrated in a ceremony that included a jam-packed room of teammates, peers, administrators, family and coaches.
"I’m so excited to celebrate Julissa, Sarah, Tereza, Nick and Alex," Director of Athletics Logan Condon said. "This is an incredible accomplishment and a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and countless hours they’ve poured into their sports. They are an inspiration to our entire community, and I can’t wait to cheer them on as they continue their journeys at the collegiate level."
The five graduating seniors join a sizable group of former Panthers competing at the collegiate level.
